Many things I've sewn

Hello there! How are you this cold evening? I'm sitting here with a thick fleece on while writing my post, very chilly even with the heating up brrrrrrrrrr . For those of you that don't know i have a son named Leon and my partner Olly of nearly four years!! Wow the time has flown by. While Olly is out there working everyday I'm busy preparing meals, cleaning, sorting, dog walking and most important looking after my little boy. I'm very lucky to be a stay at home mum, it's giving me a chance also to start looking into starting my business, I make a variety of different homemade goodies, my favorite being the soft play cubes which are going to be the first craft to sell eventually. The wet weather has meant we have stayed in a lot with our thick cozy socks and a lot of coffee and hot milk and movies! Making all the crafts that have been swirling around my head for some time :) I wanted to show you all some of my handmade crafts. All of these crafts I'm showing you are all my first tries, so although not perfect, I love them! So Here are some pictures I also promised you lovely lot;

     My little family xx

So there's a few pics of my crazy duo lol, love them. Here are some of my makes, not all of them, but others will be in my future blogs!

Here they are:

The big cube is made out of felt, love how colourful this one is, lots of fun for crawling babies and toddlers, the small fabric cubes are just adorable, perfect for newborns up to crawling and beyond :) lots of fun and washable also, great as gifts for all those precious new arrivals and birthdays. I will be making lots more in different designs and sizes so watch this space :)

Here are a few more pics of different random things I've enjoyed making for
Leon and our home

Patchwork quilt and comfort blankie

A fabric owl

A felt Easter egg basket and felt rabbit

Oven top cover and a fabric heart

Ok so that's all for now, iPad is playing up, not having much luck in the world of technology this week, my laptop stopped working this week too :( but more of my handmade goodies to come. My next blog will be about my good friend's handmade felt robots, there simply awesome!
I hope I have inspired you to start making some crafts from above or if your like me your be on your sewing machine now and not even seen this blog lol.

Take care bloggers

A little about me

Hello lovely people,
                                Please be patient with me, this is my first blog. I will keep it short and sweet for my first ever one! Yey! My name is leeanne, I am a mother to my lovely boy Leon, I'm a full time mummy and very much enjoy every minute I get to spend with him. Since my son arrived I have been getting into sewing and making lots of things for him and my home, and a few gifts for friends from time to time. It all began just making things ( mainly for my little solider) like a pillow and a patchwork quilt and soft toys and even a display bear (which is still an ongoing project) to go on his lovely shelf in he's adorable little room. I've made a variety of different things, which has lead me to wanting to start my own little buissness firstly selling cute soft play cubes made from gorgeous different fabrics. It's all ongoing and will keep you updated with my progress. My next blog will be longer and more detailed with photos of my family and crafts, so please watch for my next post!

                                  Take care guys, sew many things xx
